Returns & Delivery Legal Statement


Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order. To do so you must inform us in writing within 7 days from the day after receipt of your order to our Customer Services Department by emailing orders (at) urbanexcess.com. Returning any item within 7 days will also be taken as notice of cancellation of your order (or part of your order). Please quote your order number on all correspondence. Goods are provided to you on approval and legal title to the goods will not pass to you until the 7 days post-delivery period has expired. On receipt of the goods, Urban Excess will give you a refund of the amount paid or an exchange as required. If you return goods on which you have received a discount/offer, that discount/offer will no longer apply if you fall below the discount/offer threshold. The contract in respect of sale of goods between UrbanExcess and you requires that you return the goods to Urban Excess on cancellation. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns & Exchanges


We guarantee the quality of all our products. If you are unsatisfied in any way, we are happy to refund items that are returned to us within 14 days of delivery, in the same condition that it was received and with the tags still attached.

In case of returning or exchanging items the customer is responsible for all shipping costs. If we have made a mistake with an item sent to you or it is faulty, we will refund the delivery charges you have paid to receive that item unless it was sent to you with other items which you are not returning.
Please note that underwear is non-returnable and that swimwear must have all labels and hygiene protectors intact.

I want to return an item


1. In order to save you time and ensure your refunds/exchanges are processed quickly and efficiently, please ensure you obtain and include a Return Authorisation Number. Please email us at email and include your order number. We will reply with your number and instructions.
2. Send the item back with the original packing invoice and Return Authorisation Number to:

3. When we have received the item and approved the return, we will refund the full amount to your card.

I want to exchange an item

1. Please reply to the dispatch confirmation email from Customer Services or email us at email to request an exchange. Check that your item is in stock on the website by adding it to your basket and when sending your request please include the size of the item that you would like it exchanged for. We will reply to confirm the exchange and supply you with a Return Authorisation Number which you will need to include when sending your item(s). Please note that we can only provide one exchange, after which a separate order will need to be placed.

2. Send the item back with the original packing invoice and Return Authorisation Number to:

3. When the exchanged item is received and approved, the new item will be dispatched. If the new item is at higher cost you will have to pay the difference by card. If the new item is at lower cost, we will credit the difference back on to your card.

In a case of exchange or return you will responsible for the item during transport/shipping.

Damage during transit


All packages we ship are insured. If the package and/or the content is damaged upon arrival, please report that to the courier when you receive it. If you notice any damages when you unpack, please contact us.

Complaints Procedure

If you do have a complaint please email Customer Services - orders (at)urbanexcess.com. Urban Excess welcomes and learns from complaints. We aim to deal with complaints speedily and sympathetically. All complaints are logged,investigated and replied to.
