Han Kjobenhavn was lovingly conceived on May 1st 2008 on the mean streets of Copenhagen, Denmark. Han Kjobenhavn sunglasses and clothing is made of all the ingredients that form the fundamentals of Danish design. Han Kjobenhavn has put simplicity and traditional craftsmanship in a blender with originality to create the shady characters you see today. Han sunglasses frames draw our inspiration from timeless design. We're talking simple, but innovative and aesthetically beautiful elements. Han glasses don't follow trends, but we do follow classic design principles.
The Han Kjobenhavn Spring/Summer 2011 clothing collection is the biggest yet, with new styles in new qualities such as our Tapered jeans, which we now bring in a soft indigo dyed 12,5 Oz selvedge fabric. Han have also have used indigo dying processes on both jeans and tops to give it a unique blue color. In our jeans range, they have added a rinsed wash 12,5 Oz red listed selvedge Okayama jeans fabric in a new fit called 50's Zip fly which has a boxy top with a regular thigh and a tapered hem. We have made two functional jackets in a military nylon ripstop quality.
