— The Hundreds, now in it's seventh year, is a dual-part lifestyle proposition that houses both
The Hundreds clothing collection and an online-magazine. Founded in 2003 by Ben and Bobby Hundreds, both projects of The Hundreds incorporate their personal perspective on street subculture and trademark attitude. The inspiration for The Hundreds apparel come from Southern California’s surf, skateboarding, hip-hop and punk culture and the Los Angeles lifestyle. The t-shirt designs are reminiscent of 1980s surf-culture, the clothes from 1990's independent skateboard company apparel and the end of the millennium advent of streetwear.
The line is comprised of The Hundreds snapback caps, New Era Baseball Caps, The Hundreds t-shirts, shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, denim and and accessories. In 2008, The Hundreds launched a shoe program monikored The Hundreds Footwear, and by 2009, The Hundreds sunglasses collection, The Hundreds Eyewear, debuted to the public. To date, The Hundreds has collaborated on special projects with global brands like SE Bikes, eS, Disney, Casio G-Shock, Forum Snowboards, DeLorean Motor Co., Medicom, Gravis and individual designers and artists including Avail, Tofer, Jun Cha, David Choe, Usugrow, Robbie Conal, Craola, H2O and Angelyne.
The Hundreds streetwear is sold in limited quantities in the world’s most prestigious streetwear and skate boutiques and has also been featured as a cover story in such media as the Los Angeles Times, Giant Robot, New York Times Magazine, Antenna, MuchMusic Television, KoreAm and Inc. Magazine. Currently, The Hundreds is stocked in This includes The Hundreds' first flagship retail location in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles, and the second The Hundreds store in San Francisco's Union Square.
