Vans Trainers reflect more than 40 years Vans still strives to create durable footwear that allows the imagination to run wild. Back in 1966, the Van Doren Rubber Company opened up for business in Anaheim, CA. Soon, Vans’ simple canvas shoes became a staple at the beach and throughout Southern California. Not long after, SoCal youngsters found that Vans’ sticky gum rubber sole and sturdy construction made the shoes perfect for skateboarding. Those beach staples have evolved into a full line of Vans’ Classics that pay homage to our surf and skate heritage.

Such favourites as the Classic Slip-On, Sk8-Hi, Old Skool, Era, Authentic, Chukka Boot, Half Cab and Prison Issue #23 are back and each season we offer an amazing assortment of fabrics and designs including suede and canvas combinations in a variety of earthy as well as bold colours, new checkerboard combinations, embroidered canvas designs, plaids, pop art prints, metallics, satins and assorted fun canvas. Vans Classics styles are available for guys, girls, kids, toddlers and even infants in a variety of colours and prints.
Vans Authentic | Available since our inception in ’66. Vans’ very first style caught the eye of Orange County surfers and skaters.

Vans Era Trainers | The original skate shoe designed with help from Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta; originated in 1976.  The padded collar offered extra protection for skaters.
Vans Classic Slip-On Trainers | Our iconic sneaker is the standard for slip-ons the world over since 1979. Vans SK8-Hi Trainers | Hi-top lace up with Vans iconic sidestripe was introduced in 1978.
